What is the structure of the sessions conducted?

How often will activities be conducted and what kind?
Activities will be conducted for the members on a weekly basis. Following kinds of activities will be conducted :
1. Coding contest/problems, shwags for best performers
2. Tips/tricks on certain domains/concepts
3. Updates on new opportunities
Will I get certificates for attending the sessions?
No. Until and unless it's a special event or a competition or a certificate of recognition for your efforts.
We don't want members who are here just for the certificates.
Can I say I'm associated with Google?
No, because you are a part of DSC. DSCs are powered by Google developers but that doesn't mean that you're a part of Google or you're working with Google if you're in any of the teams of DSC KSSEM.
Putting "working with DSC KSSEM" on LinkedIn as an experience is not permitted, as it makes you look foolish. The club's name can be mentioned under the volunteering section.
Will the events be paid or free?
All events are free of cost, we ain't making money out it, so please do show up it's for your own good. If you register for an event we expect you to ATTEND IT. A lot of effort is put in, in organizing an event be it online or offline. If you fail to show up consistently in the events after registering, you'll be banned from attending future events.
DON'Ts
1. If you have to share a feedback please do it politely. If you try to misbehave with any of our speakers, you'll be banned. If a session wasn't upto mark, let us know about the improvements needed.
2. Paid promotions are NOT allowed! You can share opportunities, events, resources and so on but don't spam everyone with promotional messages.
